Concrete work on link will close part of Taylor

Section of street will close July 22, reopen July 24

Construction of the link that will connect employee parking garages on Duncan Avenue with the center of the Medical Campus will require Taylor Avenue between Scott Avenue and Children’s Place to close at 7 p.m., Friday, July 22. The stretch will reopen by 7 p.m., Sunday, July 24. Trucks will pour concrete for the floor deck of the link over Taylor.

Access will be maintained to all buildings, parking lots and streets off Taylor. Detours will be marked. Metro buses will be rerouted to enter the Metro bus terminal from the north only.

Contractors will close Taylor in the same location an additional weekend this summer to install glass on the link over Taylor. Dates will be communicated at they become available.
