Current and planned closures
Kingshighway lane and sidewalk restrictions
One northbound lane of Kingshighway Ave. is closed north of Barnes-Jewish Plaza to accommodate demolition and construction at the site of Queeny Tower. The sidewalk on the east side of Kingshighway is also closed.
Hope Plaza and BJC Institute of Health expansion
Ellen S. Clark Hope Plaza will be closed during construction on the Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health building. Until the plaza reopens in winter 2024, pedestrians will be routed to the plaza’s perimeter and will use a covered walkway to reach the front door of the building.
