Medical Campus phones offline for up to 4 hours Feb. 19-20

February 9, 2016

Late Friday, Feb. 19, through early Saturday, Feb. 20, the phone network at Washington University Medical Campus and at several other School of Medicine and BJC locations will be maintained, requiring a disruption in service. All landline phones at the sites listed below will be without service for up to four hours.

Test heading 2

The service disruption will begin at 11 p.m. that Friday, with service expected to be restored by 3 a.m. During that span, no landlines will be accessible. Those wishing to make calls will need to use cell phones. However, anyone with an emergency on the Medical Campus still will be able to dial 2-HELP (362-4357) to reach Protective Services.

The temporary shutdown is not related to the Medical Campus’ upcoming transition to Dial 10; no dialing patterns will change as a result of the Feb. 19-20 maintenance.

The affected buildings are:

· Barnes-Jewish Hospital campus
· Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital campus
· BJC @ The Commons
· BJC – Highlands
· BJC Learning Institute
· BJC – Meridian
· Siteman South County
· Orthopedic Center in Chesterfield
· Washington University School of Medicine
