Parking garage access road to partially close starting July 11

Construction of the elevated link connecting the employee parking garages on Duncan Avenue to the center of the Medical Campus is progressing. However, the work is moving along more slowly than anticipated due to unforeseen construction conditions.

To expedite the project, the access road on the south side of the employee parking garages along Duncan Avenue will close in two phases beginning July 11. Contractors will allow access at all times to either Taylor Avenue or Newstead Avenue, never completely closing the road. The garage entrances and exits on Duncan Avenue will not be affected.

More specific dates and other details will be communicated as they become available. Signs will be posted to direct employees.

Duncan Central garage:

• The garage will remain accessible from either Taylor or from Newstead at all times.
• The entrance from Duncan will remain open.

St. Louis Children’s Hospital staff garage on Duncan:

• The garage will remain accessible from Newstead at all times.
• The Duncan entrance/exit will not be affected.
